1. The internet store Amazon.com was created on July 5, 1994. Part of the society was quite skeptical, but the company's growth rate turned out to be pretty fast. 3. Jeff Bezos initially wanted to name his company Cadabra, which would be a short version of Abracadabra. However, finally he chose Amazon and it was for 2 reasons.
